TSS Digital Drop Box
- Log into TSS (www.bcpss.org).
- Click the "Courses" tab.
- Click on the link for one of the courses you are teaching:

- Click on "Control Panel" at the bottom of the buttons list on the left:

- Find the link to "Digital Drop Box in the "Course Tools" section, and click on it.:

- Click the "Add File" button:

- Click the "Browse" button, which will result in the standard "Open File" window asking you to locate the file you want to transfer from your computer (or network folder) to TSS:

- Locate the file you want to transfer, and click "Open":

- TSS will display the name of the file you chose in the "File:" field, as shown below. You can now type some descriptive text, if you like, in the "Comments" field. When you are done, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the window.

- TSS may display an alert like the one below. You can ignore it and click OK. (You really want to understand that alert? OK. Back when you clicked on "Add file" in step 6, you could have clicked "Send File" instead. "Send File" allows you to both add the file to your digital drop box and send it to those who are enrolled in your course at the same time. For our purposes here — transferring files from home to school — you don't need to send files to other people; you just want to add them to your digital drop box.)

- TSS will display your "Dropbox Receipt," acknowledging that your file has been uploaded (transferred from where you're working to TSS). Click "OK."

- The Digital Drop Box now displays your file in the list:

- Now, from any location, you can log into TSS, open your course and Digital Drop Box, and click the link for the file you want to download (transfer from TSS to your location). To specify the exact location (directory or folder) you want the file to be transferred to, right-click (Windows) or control-click (Mac) on the link (this procedure is illustrated on another page in the "How-to Guides").
