Morgan Science Fair Awards
Five Western students were named winners in the Morgan State University Science Fair. Aqsa Jamil '10, (1st Place) and Christiana Obeng '11 (2nd Place) earned an all-expenses-paid trip to Atlanta, Georgia in May to compete in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
Kelly Munroe '11 (1st Place, Earth and Environmental Science), Isha Beazer '11 (2nd Place, Earth and Environmental Science), and Nimra Jamil '11 (1st Place, Mathematics and Computer Science) received awards for selected areas and were invited to participate in the Science Olympiad in Houston, Texas.
