HSA Scores, 2006

Western students' HSA scores in 2006 place Western among the top state schools. Algebra passing rates jumped to 83.1% (a 33.1% gain) and Biology to 84.7% (a 28.4% gain). Western far exceeded City and state averages, and surpassed every county in Maryland in three of four areas. Few schools in Baltimore and its neighboring counties exceeded Western's performance.
