Suzanne Held
Western mourns the passing of beloved alumna and long-time school secretary Suzanne Held (Class of '64) on January 4, 2007.
Sue devoted 42 years to Western, working at the heart of the school. During the tenure of numerous principals, the efficiency and expertise she brought to her work--managing the school office, supporting administrators, teachers, and students, assisting parents, alumnae, and visitors--made Western, perhaps more than anything else did, Western.
We will miss her faithfulness, as well as the gentle manner, easy humor, and grace Sue bestowed on us for so many years.
