Champions of Courage Essay

Venus and Serena Williams have overcome many obstacles in the tennis world. When tennis society was against them, they never gave up. They proved to the world that just because you don't belong to a country club or have a personal tennis teacher doesn't mean that you can't play tennis. If you want something bad enough, then you should never let anything stand in your way. Through all the obstacles, they never let their hardships bring them down. They were determined to prove everyone wrong and they did as they won the U.S Open and Wimbledon. That's why Venus and Serena Williams are my Champions of Courage.
