Band Awards
On April 22, 2006 The Combined Bands of Western High School and Polytechnic Institute participated in the Williamsburg, Virginia, Heritage Musical Festival. In competition with 15 other bands in 5 other eastern states and one from Prince Georges, County Maryland, they received two silver plaques, 1 bronze plaque, and 1 silver trophy. Our participating music groups were Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Indoor Guard. Congratulations band members!
