Fall Season
The first day of the season will be Saturday, August 14, 2004.- Those athletes joining the cross country and volleyball teams should report to the gymnasium at 9:00 a.m.
- Those interested in the soccer team should report ot the gym at 5:30 p.m.
For all teams, be dressed and ready to participate. During these times, parent permission and physical examination cards must be given to the coach to be eligible to participate with the team. Parent permission cards are included with a letter being mailed to students the week of July 26-30.
Physical Examinations
A physical examination must be obtained each year to participate in athletics. When using your own physician, the documentation turned into your coach must state that the student is able to participate in athletics, along with the doctor's name, address, and phone number clearly legible. Union Memorial Hospital will be offering a physical for Baltimore City Public School athletes on Saturday, August 7th at 8:00 a.m. sharp! The cost is $10 cash. Come early if you want to get out in a reasonable time, and use the entrance on 33rd Street at Calvert Street. Physical cards will be available at the hospital.
