History of Junior Day Assembly


The Junior Day Assembly is a day set aside for the recognition of the transition from Lower class, to upper class women. Every year a new class is presented with an assembly where the class officer's and members at large all are officially elected into the office previously voted upon at the conclusion of the sophomore year.

Events that Occured During Assembly

This year the class of 2004's Junior day assembly contained a variety of performances. The performances included a Dance selection and 2 original Poetic readings.
 
Installation of officers during the Junior Day Assembly.

Alisha Miller proudly reads the class motto that she created herself. 

Nikeita Moore reads a poetic selection orginally written by herself. 

Melanie Powell, Morgan Thomas, and Danielle Turner perform a dance selection during the assembly.

Juniors sing Dear Western at the conclusion of the assembly.
